On July 23rd, 2026, at 0007 hours, I Sgt. D. Mobbs responded to [1300 BLOCK] Santa Fe Trl. in reference to a demented person.
Upon arrival I met with complainant Mr. [VICTIM #1] who was holding suspect Mrs. Sharkeya Lane down after Mrs. Lane attacked him with a pair of scissors. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised they came home and Mrs. Lane was there after being gone for weeks and she was having a mental crisis. She had a pair of scissors in her hands and lunged at Mr. [VICTIM #1]. He defended himself but got cut in the process. He then held Mrs. Lane down by her dreads until law enforcement arrived. Mr. [VICTIM #1] is Mrs. Lanes father.
Mr. [VICTIM #1] was seen by EMS and then EMS talked to Mrs. Lane. She answered all their questions and refused any treatment. Mrs. Lane was then transported to the Bibb County LEC where she is charged with Aggravated Assault.
