On May 20, 2026, I, Sgt. Lewis and Dep. Hughes responded to [4000 BLOCK] Ayers Road in reference to a person possibly cut.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Ms. Trinity Baker, who was standing outside. I could see a laceration to the inside of her right hand and a second small cut on the left side of her lip. She stated that she was in her room downstairs when her mom, [VICTIM #1], came down and began to look in the closet. At that time, [VICTIM #1] got upset because her daughter had a boy in her room. Trinity then left the room, ran upstairs, and the male left. [VICTIM #1] followed her daughter upstairs at that time. Trinity stated that she was going to get her child and leave. At this point, Trinit stated that she threw things at her mother and had grabbed a knife. She stated that during the altercation, her mom stabbed her.
I then spoke with [VICTIM #1]. She confirmed her daughter’s story but stated that when he daughter began to throw things at her, her daughter had grabbed a knife as well. [VICTIM #1] stated that she had tried to take the knife from her daughter while they were in the kitchen. [VICTIM #1] stated that she grabbed the handle and pulled the knife away, but Trinity didn’t let go, causing a cut on the inside of her right hand.
[VICTIM #1] showed me how Trinity was holding the knife against the wall, pointing it at her, and how she attempted to disarm her daughter.
The injuries on Trinity were consistent with the mother’s story. The laceration was on the inside of her hand as if she was gripping the blade. I collected the knife and turned it into the crime lab as evidence.
Trinity was taken to the hospital, and upon being evaluated, she was brought to the Bibb County LEC.
