On or about March 31, 2025, at approximately 1513 hours, Wilbur Cameron, was operating a white 2023 Nissan Frontier (GA tag [REDACTED]) southbound on Spring Street in Macon, GA. Near the intersection of Spring Street and Riverside Drive, when he struck the rear of a black 2021 Mercedes-Benz CLA (GA tag [REDACTED]), which was stopped in the southbound, outside, left-turn lane and operated by the victim, [VICTIM #1]. According to Ms. [VICTIM #1], she believed Mr. Cameron to be impaired at the time based on his statements and behavior. Mr. Cameron knowingly caused damage to the victim’s vehicle and then left the scene without providing his name, contact information, or insurance details as required by law. Ms. [VICTIM #1] attempted to follow behind Mr. Cameron’s vehicle but stopped on the advice of her husband. She was able to provide the tag information of the vehicle which was further identified through use of the FLOCK camera system.

Based on the Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s identification of the vehicles registered owner as being the driver, warrants will be sought for Mr. Cameron’s arrest and the vehicle will be impounded upon its location.
