Contact was made with [REDACTED], a case manager with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS), regarding a complaint involving a 10-year-old child, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Ms. [REDACTED] stated that the complaint alleged inappropriate physical contact by Zachary Ballard [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
According to Ms. [REDACTED], it was also alleged that Ballard had exposed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to pornographic material after inappropriate contact. Upon speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Ms. [REDACTED] reported that the child confirmed these incidents had occurred on three occasions. Additionally, Ms. [REDACTED] spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who was reportedly aware of the situation.
Ms. [REDACTED] requested that an initial report be filed to involve the Crimes Against Children division for further investigation. Contact was made investigator Sgt. Carswell who advised that they will contact Ms. [REDACTED] in reference to the incident. This report will be forwarded to the appropriate unit to ensure the matter is thoroughly investigated and the child’s welfare is safeguarded.
