On above date and time I received a call in reference to a domestic dispute that was happening in a vehicle going down the road. Dispatch advised that the victim was stating on the phone that the offender was pulling the steering wheel in attempts to make them crash. The victim pulled the vehicle over to the shoulder of the road to wait for us.
Once I arrived the victim and the offender exited the vehicle. As the victim was approaching me, I could see that there were red marks on the victims throat. I asked the victim where the marks came from and she stated him and pointed at the offender. I asked the victim what made the offender stop choking her. She stated that she grabbed her phone and started calling 911 and he stopped. She stated that he kept pulling on the steering wheel while she was talking to dispatch.
The victim then stated that she had paper work from the courts that the offender was not even supposed to be around the victim. She showed me the paper work and it was bond paper work from Glynn county that said he was not to have any contact with the victim direct or indirect, because she was the victim in a domestic dispute in Glynn county with the offender.
I then placed the offender under arrest and he was transported to the Brantley Jail and turned over to jail staff.
