[NARRATIVE #1 on September 02, 2024]
On 09/02/24 AT 0058hrs. I, Dep. M. Kirkland responded to George Perkins Rd. approximately 1 mile south of Winter Rd. in reference to a vehicle fire.
On my arrival I made contact with [WITNESS #1], who stated he observed the vehicle abandoned and was on fire. [WITNESS #1] stated prior to seeing the vehicle on fire he passed an unknown black SUV with atleast 2 occupants leaving the area at a hire rate of speed traveling north.
I observed the vehicle to be completely burnt to the frame. I observed that there was no state tag affixed to the vehicle and was unable to locate the VIN due to heavy damage. Burke Fire was able to extinguish the fire and Lonnie’s towed the remains. Burke Fire Chief advised he would notify their fire investigator. I was able to tell it was a Blue Ford F-150 FX4, 4-door.
