On Sunday, 4/20/2025, Deputies responded to the 8600 block of Highway 56 South in reference to shots fired. Cpl. A Correa and Deputy T. Walker arrived on scene and made contact with the victims, [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] who advised that a black male in a silver Chervolet Malibu fired several shots at their vehicle. Victims stated that two other male victims were in the vehicle at the time ([VICTIM #3] and [VICTIM #4]) but were taken back to their residence by [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] stated that prior to the shooting, [VICTIM #3] was involved in a physical altercation with a black male with dreads, later identified as Quindarius Beasley.
Victims stated they were able to seperate [VICTIM #3] and Beasley, by placing [VICTIM #3] in their vehicle and driving away. Victims stated that they traveled down Old Wadley Road and approached Highway 56 South. Victims stated that as they turned left onto Highway 56 South, they heard several shots, one of which struck the driver side of their vehicle. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] stated that they observed a silver chevrolet Malibu behind them, which continued straight onto Buckeye Plantation Road, across from Old Wadley Road. [VICTIM #2] stated that he kept driving out of fear, until his tire light began to blink and he noticed that his driver side tire was going flat due to being struck by a bullet. [VICTIM #2] stated that he pulled over infront of [8600 BLOCK] Highway 56 South and called 911. While deputies were onscene, [WITNESS #1] arrived and stated that he was the uncle of Quindarius Beasley and identified him as the male involved in the physical altercation and driving a silver Chevrolet Malibu.
Lt. Sims (A6) and Sgt. Whitfield were notified and responded. Photos of the vehicle were taken as well as shell casings that were located and collected at the intersection of Highway 56 South and Old Wadley Road. Investigators also made contact with [VICTIM #3] and [VICTIM #4] and obtained a statement. Lt. Sims secured warrants for Quindarius Beasley for 4 counts of Aggravated Assault (OCGA 16-5-21) and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (OCGA 16-11-106).
