On December 5, 2024 at 1443 hrs. I, Officer Freddie Lockhart was dispatched to a non-emergent call by Burke County 911 Dispatch at 628 Myrick Street, Waynesboro GA, 30830 (Waynesboro Police DEPT) in reference to Shots fired past event.
On arrival, I activated my department issued body camera and made contact with the complainant [VICTIM #1].
[VICTIM #1] stated that she was at home on Wednesday Decemeber 4, 2024 around 2200 hours playing a game and packing up to move out of the residence location [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Magnolia Acres with her cousin [WITNESS #1] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and her two friends [WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #3]. [VICTIM #1] stated that her ex- boyfriend Shawnquil Conner came to her door and rang her ring doorbell camera, [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not open the door.
[VICTIM #1] showed officers the video camera footage which showed Conner ringing the bell and then running away while shooting at the residence officers was able to find two 9mm shell casings and three entry locations of the residence 2 sig luger 9mm shell casings was found and turned into evidence locker 1.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she was glad that she was moving out of the apartment complex [VICTIM #1] stated that had she not been moving she fears that the rounds could of injured any party in the home at the time of incident.
Cid was notified warrants filed.
