On 12/31/2022 I was observing traffic on Arizona St in Kingsland, Camden County GA, I witnessed a white Ford Expedition pass by with a tag cover that was obscuring the registration sticker on the tag. I conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle on E Royal Ave at S May St in Kingsland GA. Dispatch informed me that the registration was suspended.

I made contact with the sole occupant of the vehicle who identified herself as a Tiara Dasher. I immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. I had Mrs. Dasher step out stand by my patrol vehicle with Dep. Miner while I conducted a search of the vehicle.

That search yielded 3 pills wrapped up in a five dollar bill in the door handle of the driver side door. I asked Mrs. Dasher what the pills were and she stated that her boyfriend takes Ecstasy and that they were his. I field tested one of the pills and it did field test positive for MDMA/Ecstasy.

Mrs. Dasher was searched by a female KPD officer and placed under arrest. Mrs. Dasher was placed in handcuffs which were double locked and checked for fit and placed into the rear of my patrol vehicle. I transported her to the Camden County Jail for booking on the charges of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, Suspended Registration and Obscured Tag.

Warrants will be sought out on these charges. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver per the request of Mrs. Dasher.
