On 01/31/2026, at approximately 18:00 hours, I took a walk-in at the Carrollton Police Department (115 W Center St) in reference to a rape that had occurred on 01/29/2026 in the middle of the night at [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Upon my arrival, I noticed [VICTIM #1] (the complainant) sitting in a self-soothing posture, with her arms crossed and her legs tucked together. I spoke to [VICTIM #1] in the Carrollton Police Department city courtroom (115 W Center St).

[VICTIM #1] stated that Elijah Wilson came over on Thursday night (01/29/2026) at around 22:48 hours. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and Elijah were hanging out and that Elijah asked to spend the night because he had school the next day (01/30/2026) at 0900 hours. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and Elijah hung out for a little while, played Roblox on her iPad, and that he brought food over for both of them to eat.

[VICTIM #1] stated that at around 0040 hours, she and Elijah started getting ready for bed. [VICTIM #1] stated that she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and to wash her face. When she came back and noticed Elijah watching TV, he looked like he had fallen asleep. [VICTIM #1] said that she had fallen asleep and woke to Elijah’s hand in her pants. [VICTIM #1] then pushed Elijah’s hand away, turned over, and went back to sleep.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she woke up again and felt Elijah getting closer and closer to her and that Elijah kept touching her. I asked [VICTIM #1] what she meant by ‘touching her,’ and she said she sleeps with her arms and knees close to her chest, and that Elijah was touching under her right hamstring near her butt cheek. [VICTIM #1] stated that Elijah lifted her shirt up and was rubbing the right side of her torso, and that Elijah grabbed her breast and was pulling her closer to him.

[VICTIM #1] stated that Elijah was so close to her that she could feel Elijah’s heart pounding on her back. [VICTIM #1] told me that while Elijah was doing this, he kept going to the bathroom multiple times and coming back to touch her legs and breast again. [VICTIM #1] stated that Elijah lifted the pillow from her head multiple times to see if she was awake, and that he did so for hours throughout the night.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she heard Elijah’s alarm go off, but she laid there pretending to be asleep until her alarm went off at 10:22 hours to go to work. [VICTIM #1] told me that the only reason Elijah got up was that he thought she was waking up.

[VICTIM #1] then re-stated that she did not think she was dreaming and that she believed she had woken up with Elijah’s hand in her pants. [VICTIM #1] stated that she went back to sleep and woke up to find Elijah in bed, pressed against her, with his right leg on top of her right leg. [VICTIM #1] stated that she could feel Elijah’s whole body against her and that she texted him about the incident to confront him. [VICTIM #1] showed me that Elijah admitted it through text message.

I asked [VICTIM #1] if Eljiah inserted his genitalia inside of her genitalia. [VICTIM #1] told me that nothing like that happened and that it was just Elijah’s hands. I then asked [VICTIM #1] if Elijah’s fingers went inside her vagi*a, and she said not that she knew of.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she’s known Eljiah for 7 years, that they’re close friends, and that this was the first time Eljiah had spent the night with her. [VICTIM #1] said she felt comfortable with Eljiah being there and that she did not think he would do something like this. [VICTIM #1] said the boundaries between her and Eljiah are very clear. [VICTIM #1] told me that Elijah has been in a relationship with another girl for the past three years.

[VICTIM #1] stated that the only thing she was unsure about was whether Eljiah had stuck his hand in her pants, but she was sure he had done everything else listed above. While [VICTIM #1] is telling her side of the story, she starts crying and stated that Elijah’s hand being in her pants is what woke her up.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she thinks Eljiah was trying to sexually arouse her, and she kept waking up to him grabbing the bottom of her legs and lifting her shirt to grab her breast. [VICTIM #1] stated that she could feel Elijah’s pe*is on her and could feel him getting hard multiple times.

When [VICTIM #1] was asked if she wanted to press charges on Elijah, she seemed worried that she was going to have to see or talk to Elijah again. [VICTIM #1] did want to press charges.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she lives with two other roommates and that she told [REDACTED] (her roommate) about what happened between her and Elijah.

Sgt. Denny with CID was notified, and the case was turned over to him.

Ofc. Darling and I were able to locate the suspect’s (GA tag [REDACTED]) vehicle at Octiv Row apartment building [REDACTED], [100 BLOCK] Cunningham Dr. Ofc. Darling and I located Elijah at his girlfriend’s apartment (Octiv Row Apt [REDACTED]), [100 BLOCK] Cunningham Dr.

Upon my arrival, I spoke to [WITNESS #1] (Elijah’s girlfriend). [WITNESS #1] said she knew what I was doing there and asked me if it was about [VICTIM #1].

[WITNESS #1] stated that on Thursday night, around 23:00 hours (01/29/2026), she received a text from Elijah stating that he was going to [VICTIM #1]’s house. [WITNESS #1] stated that she texted Elijah back and said she did not know if she would be awake by the time he got back to her place. [WITNESS #1] said that when she woke up, she checked Elijah’s location, and he was still over at [VICTIM #1]’s place.

[WITNESS #1] stated that on Friday morning (01/30/2026), she received multiple direct messages from [VICTIM #1] on Instagram. [WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] called her and asked where she was and if she had anything planned that day (01/30/2025). [WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] said she had to tell her something important over a phone call that they had. [WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] came over to her apartment to talk to her in person about the incident that had occurred the night before.

[WITNESS #1] seemed very confused about whether alcohol was involved in this incident or not. [WITNESS #1] kept going back and forth about about if [VICTIM #1] and Elijah both drank alcohol or if it was just Elijah who was drinking. [WITNESS #1] stated that when [VICTIM #1] was over there to talk about what happened, [VICTIM #1] was sitting on her bed, not talking or smiling, with a stoic expression.

[WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] told her she had woken up to Elijah touching her, rubbing her, and getting close to her. [WITNESS #1] told me that she started crying and that the way [VICTIM #1] had said it, she thought Elijah had raped [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] then stated that [VICTIM #1] said that there was no alcohol and that she just woke up to Elijah touching her. [WITNESS #1] said she asked Elijah if he had stayed the night with [VICTIM #1], and he said he had.

[WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] told her that Elijah invited him self over with alcohol. [WITNESS #1] told me it was not what happened; she saw the text between Elijah and [VICTIM #1], and [VICTIM #1] invited Elijah over. [WITNESS #1] also said that Elijah said that there was a phone call with him and [VICTIM #1] about inviting him over.

[WITNESS #1] stated that she called Elijah and asked him if he had cheated on her, and he said to her that he had. [WITNESS #1] stated that she had received another direct message from [VICTIM #1] on 01/31/2026, in which [VICTIM #1] said she had told her Aunt she was going to press charges.

[WITNESS #1] stated that the way Elijah explained it to her was that he woke up drunk and that he was cold, so he cuddled her. [WITNESS #1] said that Elijah told her that he and [VICTIM #1] were both drinking and that he never stuck his hands down [VICTIM #1]’s pants, but he might have got too handisey with [VICTIM #1].

[WITNESS #1] stated that Elijah told her [VICTIM #1] hugged him before he left and said, “Thank you for coming.” [WITNESS #1] said Elijah said he went over to [VICTIM #1]’s apartment to patch a hole in her mattress and hang out.

Elijah was placed under arrest at 21:25 hours, and Ofc. Darling transported him to the Carrollton Police Department.

Investigator Denny then conducted an interview with Elijah. After the interview concluded, Elijah was transported to the Carroll County Jail.

Elijah was charged with 3 counts of Sexual Battery 16-6-22.1, said offense is a misdemeanor.

Warrants were typed, signed by a judge, and served at the Carroll County Jail.
