On September 11, 2026 I was requested by school principal [REDACTED] to remove a coach froм Therell High School from our football field (away) stadium. Mr. [REDACTED] stated the coach had struck one of our students/football players. He stated that the Georgia High School association (GHSA) states that a coach who is removed during a game is to remain in the locker room.
Myself and other officers walked to the opposing teams side where I located the coach (Emardre Brown) and told him the rules (GHSA) states when a conflict happens on the field, the coach must be escorted to the locker room. Mr. Brown was not compliant initially. He did eventually come to the locker room. He was told by myself and other officers to stay there for the remainder of the game. He was instructed if he came out he would be escorted off the school property.
As I walked back over to the tiger side of the stadium I was approached by [REDACTED] who stated one of our players/students hit by the coach and his mother [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was sitting next to her when it happened. Ms. [REDACTED] stated she wanted to speak to me.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also witnessed the strike happen. I collected witness statements from both parties.
Juvenile [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also wrote a witness statement.
