On 3/9/25, I, Deputy Boyd, was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Robinson Dr. in reference to a concern for welfare.
Prior to arrival, I was informed by dispatch that the caller advised that he was a neighbor and that his name was Joseph. Joseph told the dispatcher that he had heard an argument and thought it was an active domestic.
Upon arrival, I had to knock on the door several times to get [VICTIM #1] to come to the door. I then explained to [VICTIM #1] why I was there. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was asleep and that she wanted to know who called. Before I could speak, she stated that it had to be Joseph Cross. She went on further to explain that she and Joseph have a child together, but she had a TPO on him due to him stalking her. [VICTIM #1] stated that the TPO expired but tried to get an extension due to Joseph calling 911 for welfare checks and child protection services visits.
[VICTIM #1] then showed me several call log sheets in which Joseph called 911 to her location, claiming there were crimes committed. After writing down the call for service and incident case numbers, I requested a good address for Joseph. [VICTIM #1] was unable to provide it but said she could at a later time.
Joseph was then called against my advice on the phone of one of [VICTIM #1]’s friends. I intervened and spoke with Joseph, who began cursing at me and stating he did not call 911. After hanging up the phone, I confirmed that Joseph called 911 via dispatch. Dispatch was advised any calls regarding the address of [100 BLOCK] Robinson Dr from Joseph would be him harassing [VICTIM #1].
[VICTIM #1] requested that a report be made.
