On 5/9/2026 at 1552 hours, I responded to the area of Maple Street and the railroad tracks in reference to male laying on the tracks stating that he was waiting to die. I arrived at 1554 hours and observed a male, later identified as Marcus Daigle, sitting on the tracks.
I asked Marcus what was going on. He stated that he was waiting to die. He also advised me that everybody in Carroll County would be dead within a year due to the water and air being poisoned and there being no cure. I asked him if he would give me his name and he advised me that he would not. Cpl. Will Awalt #227 then arrived and advised Marcus to get off the tracks and Marcus said no. Marcus was then advised that he was under arrest.
Marcus was arrested for:
Disorderly Conduct (Acts in a Dangerous Manner) – C66-7A-13
Obstruction of a Police Officer – C66-7A-22
Marcus was transported to the Carroll County Jail without further incident. His AI sheet, citations, and arrest photo have been attached in the linked files tab.
