On 08/21/2026, I was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Hunt Club Circle in reference to a physical domestic involving a 17-year old juvenile and his mother.

Upon arrival, dispatch advised the 17-year-old caller was at 152 Rocking D Road (24-hour laundry). I went to the 24-hour laundry, and while trying to locate the complainant, dispatch advised the caller was now at the corner of Rocking D Road and Villa Rosa Road. I made contact with the complainant at the end of Rocking D Road near Villa Rosa Road. The 17-year-old juvenile was identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who stated his mother came into his room while he was sleeping in bed with scissors in her hand and jumped on him and bit his right hand and chest. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated his mom also choked him.

I noticed a fresh-looking bite mark with blood on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] right hand and a fresh-looking bite mark on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] right shoulder. I asked what caused the incident, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated his mom caught him smoking marijuana on 08/18/2026 and kicked him out of the house. I did not notice any marks or bruising on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] neck. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated his stepdad and 16-year-old sister witnessed the incident. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that his stepdad and sister had to pull his mother off him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was checked by West Georgia ambulance personnel. I took photos with my work cell phone of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] hand, shoulder, and neck.

I made contact with the mother, Marie Nelson, who I had a difficult time understanding due to her accent and talking really fast. I asked Marie to talk slower, and I still have a difficult time understanding her. Marie stated she opened her son’s bedroom door with scissors since it was locked to see if he was in his room, and her son told her “Fu*k You”. I asked Marie if she bit [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and she said no. Marie stated she went towards [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the bed, and he pushed her away from him causing a cut on her left hand. I noticed a small cut on Marie’s hand and took a picture with my work cell phone of the cut.

Marie stated that when she was near [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the bed, he pushed her away, causing a cut inside her upper lip. I noticed what looked like a fresh cold sore inside the upper lip of Marie. I took a photo of her lip with my work cell phone. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stepfather, identified as [REDACTED], if he saw or heard the incident, and I could not understand what he was saying due to his not being able to speak English well. I could only understand him saying he heard an argument. I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] 16-year-old sister, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated she and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were in her room sleeping when Marie came in and grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by his hair and bit him on his hand and shoulder.

I arrested Marie with handcuffs, checked for tightness and fit, and double locked for Battery Family Violence and Cruelty to Children 3rd degree. I secured Marie in the back seat of my patrol vehicle. Ofc. Buice arrived on scene and took off my handcuffs and placed his own on Marie and secured her in the backseat of his patrol vehicle. Ofc. Buice transported Marfie to the Carroll County Jail for booking and bonding procedures. I completed warrants for Cruelty to Children 1st Degree, Battery Family Violence, and Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree. The photos were uploaded into Axon Evidence.
