On November 8, 2025, at approximately 0500 hours, I responded to [200 BLOCK] Kennedy Estates Road in reference to a dispute that had already occurred. Upon arrival, I made contact with the homeowner, [VICTIM #1], and asked if anyone had reported someone swinging an axe. [VICTIM #1] directed me to the shed located behind the residence.
I made contact at the shed with [VICTIM #2], who resides there on [VICTIM #1]’s property. [VICTIM #2] stated that while she was lying in bed, Michael Richardson came to the rear of the shed and began striking the outside wall with an axe, attempting to hit through the wall and strike her. She said Richardson stopped once he heard her on the phone with 911 and then left the area. [VICTIM #1] stated he knew where Richardson lives and guided us approximately 100 yards into the woods behind [200 BLOCK] Kennedy Estates Road to a trailer believed to be Richardson’s residence, but he was not located.
Upon returning to the shed, I observed several puncture marks in the wall on the outside of the shed where Michael was hitting, consistent with what looked to be a hammer not a axe. [VICTIM #2] stated that Richardson was angry because she had sold a dog. She provided text messages from Richardson related to the incident, which were photographed along with pictures of the wall. [VICTIM #2] did not report any injuries. The damage to the shed was valued at under $500.
