On 01/28/2024 Corporal Lewis was dispatched to [90 BLOCK] Sonoma Lane in reference to a child molestation.
Corporal Lewis met with the complainant at the entrance to the subdivision where the complainant showed him a video of the offender inappropriately touching the juvenile victim. Corporal Lewis and Deputy Neal followed the complainant to the residence where she granted them entry into the residence. Corporal Lewis and Lieutenant Cantrell made contact with the offender and the juvenile victim in the back bedroom. Corporal Lewis got the juvenile victim away from the offender and handed them over to the complainant. Lieutenant Cantrell contacted on call Detective Pitts and advised him of the incident.
Detective Pitts arrived at the incident location and all information and evidence was turned over to him. Detective Pitts arrested the offender and Corporal Lewis transported the offender for Detective Pitts. Deputy Neal placed the offender in the rear of Corporal Lewis assigned patrol vehicle, and seat belted him in. Corporal Lewis transported the offender to the Catoosa County Detention Center and turned him over to the detention staff.
