I, Officer Aleksiewicz on March 15th 2026 at 0655 hours responded to a domestic disturbance call at [300 BLOCK] E Anderson St Apt [REDACTED] Savannah, Georgia.
When I arrived on scene, I spoke with the victim Ms. [VICTIM #1] who was on the upstairs apartment at [300 BLOCK] E. Anderson St. She stated that she was hit by her boyfriend, Mr. Adonte Burgest. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that at approximately 0300 hours, she noticed that Mr. Burgest’s phone was getting a call from another woman. Ms. [VICTIM #1] confronted Mr. Burgest over the call, which started the conflict. She stated that she told him to leave, which is when she got hit in the face by Mr. Burgest. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she did not call police then and separated from Mr. Burgest. She stated that she got hit again at approximately 0638 hours and then called police. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Burgest tried to take her phone from her while she was calling 911. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that the two do not live together, but that they are currently dating and he stays over at [300 BLOCK] E Anderson St for aproximately 2 weeks at a time. Mr. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. Burgest do not have children together.
She stated that the confrontation took place at the doorway of her apartment. She stated that she was pushed down the stairs of the unit by Mr. Burgest, and hit her head. She did state that she was choked by Mr. Burgest. She stated that she did not lose consciousness, she did not urinate herself, she did not have difficulty breathing, and was only choked for about 5 seconds. The fight ended up outside, which is where a window on [300 BLOCK] E Anderson St was broken by Mr. Burgest.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] did not elaborate on how exactly Mr. Burgest broke the window. She stated that Mr. Burgest left in a rideshare vehicle, which was a Blue Chevy Equinox truck. Ms. Burgest stated that he may have gone to an address in Pooler, being [1300 BLOCK] Ryans Way Pooler, GA 31322. She stated that he goes to this address from time to time. I observed bruising on Ms. [VICTIM #1]s face and neck, along with marks on her arms.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] was transported to Memorial Hospital by EMS. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was given a case report number card. Pictures of Ms. [VICTIM #1]s injuries were uploaded to Evidence.com.
