On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 2316 hours, I received a dispatch regarding a reported domestic disturbance involving a firearm at [800 BLOCK] Amaranth Street.

Upon my arrival at the scene, I was attired in my department-issued Class C uniform, which prominently displayed my Savanna

I made contact with the reporting party, Ms. [VICTIM #1], who informed me that she was in the room situated on the southeast end of her residence when her brother, Mr. Antonio Dixon, entered and instructed her to leave. She recounted that when she questioned his directive with an inquiry of “Why?,” Mr. Antonio produced a black handgun, which had a blue wrap around the handle, and pointed it at her while threatening to harm her if she did not comply.

Consequently, Ms. [VICTIM #1] vacated the premises and contacted 911. She expressed concern that Mr. Antonio frequently uses substances which impair his memory. This incident marked the second occasion on which he had threatened her with a firearm, leading her to feel unsafe. During our conversation, Ms. [VICTIM #1] became visibly distressed, and I stepped aside to allow her time to compose herself.

After gathering pertinent information, Mr. Antonio exited the residence through the front door. I conducted a pat-down search to ensure he was not in possession of any firearms or knives, following which he was placed in handcuffs and secured in my department-issued vehicle. I proceeded to read him his Miranda rights, to which he acknowledged his understanding and agreed to provide a statement.

Mr. Antonio conveyed to me that he was fatigued and upset regarding the treatment he received from Ms. [VICTIM #1] and their brother, who was not present at the time. He indicated that upon returning to the kitchen near his sister’s room, he had requested that Ms. [VICTIM #1] leave, to which she responded with a question. He then described slamming his hand on the countertop during the interaction. When I inquired whether he owned a firearm, he denied ownership, and also indicated that there should not be a gun in the residence.

The premises were secured, and I confirmed that no individuals remained inside or outside the residence while I was present.

Subsequently, I contacted my supervisor, Sergeant D. Korte, along with Detective L. Naureus from the Major Crimes Unit. Both individuals arrived on the scene and were briefed on the situation. I remained in place as they conducted their interview. Following this interview, a search warrant for [800 BLOCK] Amaranth Street was drafted.

I proceeded to perform a protective sweep of the residence, verifying that no individuals were present, and then maintained watch alongside Mr. Antonio. Shortly thereafter, Lieutenant J. Smith returned and informed me that a firearm, specifically a Black Stoeger STR 9C 9MM serial number T642922S06958 with two blue wristbands on the handle, had been located in t

I subsequently provided Ms. [VICTIM #1] with a case report number card and informed her about the possibility of obtaining a protection order or initiating an eviction process for Mr. Antonio.

Finally, I transported Mr. Antonio to the Chatham County Detention Center, where he was booked on charges of OCGA 16-5-21 for aggravated assault and OCGA 16-11-106 for possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of certain crimes.
