On 9/6/2026, I, Ofc Townsend, responded to a 911 hang-up in the area off Elliot Ave and Chambers St.

While there, I made contact with a female subject, Ms. [VICTIM #1]. As we cleared the call, Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she would like to make a report about an incident that took place the night before involving the father of her children, Mr. Isaiah Curry. Ms. [VICTIM #1] reported that while getting ready for work, Mr. Curry had returned home and instigated an argument. She stated that during the argument, Mr. Curry walked towards her with his gun in hand, threatening to shoot and choke her.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Curry then slapped her and threw her onto the ground. She shared that, in the midst of the fight, her children walked out of the room where they were sleeping. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was unsure of what they may have seen but directed them back into the room. Eventually, Mr. Curry walked back into his room. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she then left for work but, before leaving, asked her next-door neighbor to listen out for her children. She stated she was concerned about what Mr. Curry might do while she was away for work.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] also showed me holes in the wall of Mr. Curry’s room. She stated he had punched the wall when he returned home today.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] reported that Mr. Curry has a tendency to be aggressive, and she is worried about the safety of her children and herself. She expressed interest in seeking a Temporary Protective Order to keep Mr. Curry away from her and the children.

I provided Ms. [VICTIM #1] with a case report number card along with information on how to get a copy of the report. I also advised Ms. [VICTIM #1] of the Domestic Violence resources that are available to her if she wishes to seek further help.
