On 06/27/2026 at approximately 0206hrs, I responded to [1300 BLOCK] E 52nd St regarding a trespass. I responded in full police uniform and in a marked patrol vehicle.

Once on scene, I attempted to contact the complainant via cell phone 2x and knocked on the door 3x with no answer. At this time, I observed no one in the immediate area or lane behind the address. The call was reopened shortly after, where I then made contact with the reporting party/resident, [VICTIM #1].

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he was inside with his girlfriend, [WITNESS #1], when they heard knocking on the back windows. They then shortly heard a voice that they both recognized as Ms. [WITNESS #1]’s ex-boyfriend, Jarmey Smith. They stated he knocked for a while, but they did not come out as they were scared to go out at this time.

I then cleared the backyard where no one was located. Mr. [VICTIM #1] then pulled up his camera footage, which showed a male matching Mr. Smith’s physical description knocking on the back windows, flashing lights through them, and climbing on top of their HVAC unit. I observed damage to the screen of the rear window where Mr. Smith was seen knocking excessively. Photos were uploaded to evidence.com. They stated he had done this before at Daffin Park, and he had stalked Ms. [WITNESS #1] at Daffin Park as well, both unreported.

I advised them to get a restraining order/TPO against Mr. Smith and to document all encounters to build a stalking case against Mr. Smith. They informed me he drives a white Chevy Malibu, possibly 2014-2015, Ga tag possibly starts with QB, Old Armstrong University plate decal, and unknown decal on front license plate. I was able to locate the vehicle via Flock/SPD reports. The vehicle is a white 2014 Chevy Impala (Ga Tag: [REDACTED]) and is not registered to Mr. Smith.

They were issued CRN cards, and a community request link was sent to Mr. [VICTIM #1] for submission of the video footage. Extra Patrol was requested.
