On 02/09/2023, at approximately 0234 hours, I was dispatched to a fight.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Nykeria Pierce. She stated that she and her friend, [VICTIM #1] were involved in a physical altercation with one another. Ms. Pierce stated that she invited Ms. [VICTIM #1] over to her apartment to simply cuddle and sleepover. Ms. Pierce stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] made sexual advances towards her while they were laying down in the bed together but she declined and Ms. [VICTIM #1] became upset. This resulted in Ms. Pierce telling Ms. [VICTIM #1] that she wanted her to leave.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was trying to talk things out with Ms. Pierce when Ms. Pierce started to pull on the neck of her hoodie. She then stated that is when Ms. Pierce ran into another room to the grab the iron. She then proceeded to hit Ms. [VICTIM #1] multiple times with the iron in her face. Ms. [VICTIM #1] then stated that Ms. Pierce tried to hit her with a lamp. Ms. [VICTIM #1] then claimed that Ms. Pierce grabbed a knife and threatened to stab her and that is when she grabbed both of their phones and exited the apartment. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she went to a friend’s house but shortly returned to the scene to return Ms. Pierce’s cellphone to her.
I observed Ms. Pierce bleeding from her right hand due to injuries she sustained in the flight in addition to a small cut above her left eye. I observed multiple cuts and moderate swelling on Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s face due to her being hit multiple times with an iron.
Both parties refused to be treated by EMS. Ms. Pierce was charged with Battery and released on subpoena.
A CRN card was given to Ms. [VICTIM #1] and my BWC was active. Pictures will be uploaded to Axon Capture.
