On May 28, 2026, I was advised by Cpl. Shuford of a female subject throwing trash throughout the roadway at Bazemore Park as well as exposing her buttocks.
Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated the offender (identified as Stephanie Bryan) was throwing the parks trash cans around Bazemore Park and pulling down her pants exposing her buttocks. [WITNESS #1] stated he observed Stephanie pull down her pants and expose her buttocks while in the park. No one else witnessed the exposure.
I located Stephanie at the intersection of Big Hill Road and Bud Brown Road. Upon making contact with Stephanie, she was placed under arrest for Public Indecency. Stephanie was placed in hand restraints behind her back, double locked, and checked for proper fit. She was then secured in the rear compartment of my patrol vehicle, which was searched prior to transport and found free of contraband.
Stephanie was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center, where she was turned over to detention staff without incident. Stephanie was issued/advised she was now criminally trespassed from Bazemore Park and was no longer permitted to return to the property. Stephanie was issued a bond in the amount of $1,500 and provided a subpoena for her court date.
