[NARRATIVE #1 on August 22, 2025]
On the above date and time, I placed a public service to the Chattooga Emergency in Trion in reference to a patient who was assaulted. I spoke to the nurse, who provided me with information regarding the patient. On today’s date at approximately 1942 hours, she advised that the patient, [VICTIM #1], arrived with facial injuries, complaining of nausea and vomiting, and loss of consciousness.
When they received her for medical care, they asked her what caused her injuries. She replied that her significant other had assaulted her. Her significant other goes by the name of Jason Reece. She advised them that the incident had occurred on Thursday, August 21, 2025, and that she had not dialed 911, according to her. She indicated that she didn’t want to press any charges, but it was in their policy to report it from the hospital. The nurse advised that a Deputy Sheriff was on scene and had already spoken to her and informed her that it would be a domestic situation since both parties live together.

[NARRATIVE #2 on August 22, 2025]
On 8/22/2025 Myself and Detective COX went to speak with [VICTIM #1] in reference to the assault. While speaking with her she advised that her and JASON REECE had got into an argument and she asked him to get out of the bed. She then went to the bathroom and slammed the door. REECE became angry and knocked the door down.
When he entered the bathroom [VICTIM #1] picked up a screwdriver buy the head and swung the handle striking his arm and cutting it due to a piece of metal at the end. REECE then shoved [VICTIM #1] to the ground and began slamming her into the bathtub. [VICTIM #1] struck him again in the head causing a cut. She then went to the bedroom and got a pellet gun and REECE entered the room and took it from her and, while holding one side of her head, began hitting her with the butt of the gun causing injuries to her face.
[VICTIM #1] stated that he had grabbed her throat causing marks and told her he was going to kill her. She then contacted her friend and went to her house. The next day she went to the ER due to nausea and dizziness. While speaking with her she advised that this was not the first time he was abusive to her.
Warrants were taken for REECE for Aggravated Assault (FVA) and Battery (FVA)
