On 09/28/2025 I, Cpl. Wilks, was dispatched to [6700 BLOCK] Highway 48 in reference to a Bobby Jones subject who had allegedly assaulted the caller and was leaving in a white truck.

I arrived on scene a short time late and observed the caller later identified as [VICTIM #1] standing inside a room connected to the back of the residence. I approached [VICTIM #1] who appeared extremely upset and was crying. [VICTIM #1] stated that she had just been pushed and her cell phone was knocked out of her hands as she attempted to call 911. [VICTIM #1] stated that she had recently been contacted by three separate people telling her that her ex boyfriend Robert Jones was on drugs.

[VICTIM #1] said that she contacted an attorney a few weeks prior and wanted to evict Robert without having to go through the court system. She stated that Robert Jones had not been staying there for a while and they were not together anymore. She stated that Jones had always convinced her that he was clean and the trouble that he had gotten in had been taken care of. I informed her that Jones has always been a part of the drug game and has always had connection with people selling drugs, in Georgia, and Alabama.

[VICTIM #1] was shocked and extremely distraught saying that she had no idea and this is not something she wants to be associated with or be around because she owns a business. I told her I understood and its a complex situation when law enforcement is unware she didn’t know. She asked why we have never told her about him and what he does and I told her there have been bad experiences with her and we thought maybe she knew what he was doing.

[VICTIM #1] began to cry again almost hyperventilating and said she had no idea he was doing anything ether. She said since she’s kicked him out he has climbed in through the back window, however, this was unreported. She told us she was scared during the altercation and was scared he would came back and hurt her.

I gave [VICTIM #1] crisis center information and told her she needed to try and obtain a TPO on Jones. She stated that Jones brags about how law enforcement wouldn’t even be able to find him to serve him papers. I told [VICTIM #1] that I would be taking out warrants and that other deputies would frequent the area to try and locate Jones. It is noted that both parties were in a relationship and Jones did live at said residence for several years prior to his eviction.
