On August 25th 2026 at 2333 hours I, Deputy Matt Wilson, was dispatched to [2500 BLOCK] Old Highway 27 in reference to a physical domestic, 911 advised that the subjects were possibly intoxicated and the complaintant stated a male identified as Brandon Tibbs had damaged her vehicle, 911 then advised the complaintant told them that she had physically struck Brandon in the face.
Upon arrival, I made contact with 3 subjects walking towards me, there were two females and a male. The parties involved in the domestic was a female identified as Robyn Van Luke, and the male that was identified as Brandon Tibbs. I asked them what had happened. Brandon stated it was his fault that he got upset and irate and damaged Robyn’s vehicle. Robyn stated he tore out the gear shifter inside her vehicle, Robyn stated shortly after Brandon did that she struck him in the face, I did observe Brandon’s nose/mouth area to be bleeding. Brandon did state he deserved getting struck in the face. Brandon stated that they all had been drinking and things just got out of hand.
At this time I advised both of them that they were both going to jail. I advised Brandon he was being placed under arrest for damaging Robyn’s vehicle, I advised Robyn she was under arrest for striking him in the face area, I determined later she would be charged with Disorderly Conduct. I placed handcuffs on Brandon and Deputy Reynolds then arrived on scene and I advised Brandon to stand with him.
Robyn took me to her vehicle to show me the damages he did to her vehicle. The vehicle is a 2019 white Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Georgia tag of [REDACTED]. I observed inside the vehicle where the gear shifter was damaged, I took pictures of the damage. I asked Robyn what was a estimated price for her to get it fixed, she stated it was around $2,000.
Deputy Riley Reeves arrived on scene at this point. He transported Robyn to the Chattooga County Jail for me. I transported Brandon to the Chattooga County Jail.
