On 10/01/2026 I was dispatched to a person shot call for service on Damascus Road, near Arnold Spence.

Dispatch advised that the victim and a female occupant were on the way to a gas station, in a vehicle. The victim told dispatch that Amanda Jordan had shot him near her house. I was very familiar with the house and Amanda due to working prior calls for service at her house. I told dispatch I was going to [1000 BLOCK] Damascus Road (Amanda’s house). I asked D/S Wokal to go to the Clayton Food store to intercept the victim. Corporal Gibbs went to the BP gas station to intercept the victim. At the time, we were unsure which gas station the victim was traveling to.

Deputy Kelly, Deputy Rampley, and I arrived at [1000 BLOCK] Damascus Road. I had my emergency lights activated on my marked patrol car. I grabbed my issued rifle and proceeded to cover the house with Deputy Rampley. I asked Deputy Kelly to make announcements from the patrol car. There was no response from the house after multiple attempts with the PA. I continued to cover the house until relieved by SWAT personnel.

I discovered a cellphone in the roadway near the power pole. Due to the amount of traffic, I elected to collect the phone to keep it from getting damaged further. The phone was given to Sergeant Haugh once the scene was secure.

When SWAT made entry, I took custody of [REDACTED] and placed him in my patrol car. [REDACTED] was eventually released from the scene by CID.

I remained on scene to provide security for CID personnel while they conducted their investigation. Once CID personnel concluded their investigation, I went back to service.
