On 07/07/2026 at 04:13 pm I was dispatched to Hwy 92 and Robin Road in reference to a hit and run. Dispatch advised that caller pulled into the Kroger parking lot at the intersection of Hwy 92 and Robin Road. Caller was in a black BMW X3 (GA tag #[REDACTED]). Caller also stated the other vehicle was a small silver sedan. I arrived on scene at 04:31pm and spoke to the caller, [VICTIM #1].

[VICTIM #1] stated the following:

[VICTIM #1] was traveling west on Hwy 92 near the intersection of Hwy 92 and Robin Road. [VICTIM #1] stated that a small silver or white sedan was headed east on Hwy 92. [VICTIM #1] stated that the sedan was in the left turning lane at the intersection of Hwy 92 and Robin Road. [VICTIM #1] stated she had a green light at the time of the collision; the sedan failed to yield and made the left turn. [VICTIM #1] attempted to stop but struck the right far rear of the sedan. [VICTIM #1] stated the sedan drove off without stopping while she pulled into the Kroger parking lot.

I observed minor damaged to [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle on the right front bumper. I used the FUSUS camera system and observed part of the collision. The collision happened just off video. Utilizing the Flock camera system, I observed a silver sedan in the area at the time of the collision. This vehicle (2016 Chevrolet Cruze, GA tag #[REDACTED BY AGENCY]) matched the description of the suspect vehicle and had what appeared to be damage to the left rear bumper. This was consistent with the area struck by [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle.

I ran the vehicle through GCIC, and it returned to a [REDACTED]. I looked at previous photos of the vehicle on Flock, and it appears the damage was not there. I found information through P1 for [REDACTED] and attempted to call him multiple times with no contact. I will continue to attempt to contact [REDACTED] in order to get his statement and will investigate this incident further.
