On 3/31/2026 at approximately 1844 hours, I responded to the Best Buy located at 1810 Cumming Hwy Canton GA 30114 in reference to a fight in progress.

I arrived on scene and met with Best Buy management, who stated that one male left already in a white Ram utility truck. Management stated that the truck had turned toward Northside Blvd on Cumming Hwy. I went inside to check on the other male who was seated on a Best Buy wheelchair and had redness on the side of his face and scrapes on his arms and elbows. I asked the male, Mike Sizemore, what had happened. Mike stated that he was irritated with the best buy employees about getting a refund. During this heated exchange Mike was swearing using foul language and causing a disturbance in the store.

During this outburst, Gibran Martinez, was nearby and was telling Mike to calm down. During this exchange Mike and Gibran began to argue with one another and a fight ensued. During the fight, Mike stated that Gibran “cheap shotted” him by punching him in the side of the head with his back turned thus starting the fight. After the fight concluded, Gibran took off in his Dodge Ram. I asked Best Buy staff and they showed a video showing Mike’s disorderly conduct prior to the fight. I had Cherokee Fire and EMS clear Mike for injuries then transported him to the ADC. I issued Mike his citations and explained to him his court date. I finished the book in process and returned to service.
