On November 29, 2025, at approximately 0400 hours, I, Officer Nesbitt, was dispatched to 505 Hwy 441 Historic, in reference to a disturbance. Dispatch further advised that the RaceTrac at this location had lost power.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the suspect, Emmanuel Turner. Turner stated he was yelling and screaming because it was “pitch black outside.”
I then spoke with the complainant, identified as [VICTIM #1]. She advised that Turner had been inside the store being disruptive by loudly cursing toward customers. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Turner went into the parking lot and threatened customers, telling them that if they got out of their vehicles, he was going to “pop off,” meaning he was going to start striking people with his fists. [VICTIM #1] advised she was scared and wanted Turner removed from the property.
Turner was placed under arrest with his hands secured behind his back. Handcuffs were double-locked and checked for proper fit. He was searched incident to arrest. Turner was seated, secured with a seatbelt in the rear of my patrol vehicle, and transported to the Habersham County Jail for processing.
Turner was charged with Disorderly Conduct. A warrant was written and signed.
It should be noted that Turner had been previously barred from RaceTrac and had also been barred earlier in the day from Dunkin’ Donuts due to harassing female employees by repeatedly asking for their names and phone numbers.
