On 06/12/2026 at approximately 2145 hours, I, D/S N. Wheat, was notified about an assault that occurred and the patient was being taken to X-Rays.
I was notified by [WITNESS #1], that a patient entered the facility and stated that he was in a fight and he sustained a serious injury to his left eye. [WITNESS #1] stated that it was swollen shut. [WITNESS #1] stated that he was driven by a subject with long hair in the lobby.
I went and made contact with the driver, later identified as [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #2] stated that they were at a car show and music video shoot on Solar Circle. [WITNESS #2] stated that it was a punk rock band and that there was a mosh pit involved. While the mosh pit was going on, [WITNESS #2] stated that the victim, later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was in a fight with a person that he did not know but knew that the male and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had problems in the past. [WITNESS #2] stated that he caught what happened out of the corner of his eye and said that all he could really see was punching and then everyone scattered including [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and the offender. I gathered [WITNESS #2]’ information and then went to speak with the victim.
I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what occurred today and he stated that he got in a fight and lost. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was very apprehensive to give information to me but stated that he dated a girl in the past and there was some false allegations that she had made against him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that the brother of his exgirlfriend, Jackson Smith, had approached him as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had left the mosh pit and went to get a water from his friends vehicle. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he did not really remember if any words were exchanged and that he could tell that it was about to be a fight.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Jackson approached him and they squared up. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not remember how many punches were thrown or who threw the first punch. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that all he remembers is that he got punched in the left eye by Jackson with a closed fist and he lost his footing and fell to the ground. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Jackson did not continue to attack him and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stood up and they shook hands/dapped up and then [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went a separate way and came to the Hospital. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated at this time that he did not want to pursue any charges at this time.
I spoke with a potential witness, [WITNESS #3], who stated that she was there with her friend who was performing the show and did not really see a lot of what happened. [WITNESS #3] stated that there was a mosh pit going on and the punches were thrown in there. [WITNESS #3] stated that she did see Jackson striking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] multiple times with a closed fist and that she thought it was part of the mosh pit. [WITNESS #3] then stated that Jackson had [REDACTED BY AGENCY] pinned up against a car and that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] fell to the ground and Jackson did not continue to attack [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [WITNESS #3] stated that she is sure that Jackson threw the first punch.
I spoke with other gentlemen there but they all stated they did not see what occurred. I spoke with [WITNESS #1] once again and learned that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] suffered multiple fractures with his eye socket and a nasal fracture.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked to speak with me again and I went back to his room at Fast Track 4. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked me how long he had to pursue charges if he chose to and I told him that he could at anytime for a while. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he is still undecided if he wanted to pursue charges and I told him that it is in his best interest to go ahead and pursue charges but that I could not make him.
I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to tell me the story again and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he was in the mosh pit and started to get too hot. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went back to his friends car to get a water bottle and after getting a water bottle, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went back to the Mosh pit. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that as he was walking back, he spotted Jackson and that Jackson started to approach him in an aggressive manner and showed me that Jackson was walking up to him pulling up his pants and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] knew it was going to be a fight.
Again [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated no verbal contact was made and that he did not remember who threw the first punch. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he still did not know how many punches were thrown but that the one punch from a closed fist to his left eye knocked him to the ground and then he got up and walked away. Jackson did not pursue him after the last strike and that he dapped [REDACTED BY AGENCY] up.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he was going to talk to his lawyer to determine if he wanted to pursue charges. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Jackson is a little younger than him and that he just graduated from Northgate High School this year. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he lives on Overbrook Ct in Newnan and said it was possibly address point 23.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked me to speak with him again and showed me an instagram post that was made from an account [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that said “Have fun in the ER lame a*s bit*h #killyourlocalrapist”. I took a screenshot of the post as well as his injuries that were visible. They will be posted on Evidence.com under this case number.
I also spoke to another witness, [WITNESS #4], who stated that he noticed at the mosh pit that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was looking dehydrated. [WITNESS #4] carried around a lot of water in his vehicle and he took [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to his car and gave him some water and let him sit in the AC. [WITNESS #4] stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and him were returning to the Mosh Pit area and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was walking behind him.
[WITNESS #4] turned around at one point and saw that Jackson was following through with his punch and saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] scooting down a car as he was falling to the ground. [WITNESS #4] went over to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and helped him up and walked him away from the scene at that point. [WITNESS #4] stated that Jackson did not continue to attack [REDACTED BY AGENCY] after he fell. [WITNESS #4] did not want to give me his last name or phone number to be labeled a witness.
I gave [REDACTED BY AGENCY] a case card with this case number on it, as well as my email address in case he were to receive any videos or see any that we could attach to this case.
