On 07/02/2025, I, Dep. Bass, Badge #323, was assigned to booking at the Coweta County Detention Center.

While conducting my booking duties, I was alerted to an inmate fight in holding cell 1. I then immediately went to go break up the fight. Once inside of holding cell 1, I made contact with Inmate Pullins (B/M DOB [REDACTED BY AGENCY]1960), who was holding another inmate by the neck, going to the back wall with him as if he was holding a hostage. The hostage inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was also bleeding from his nose and mouth area. I gave loud verbal commands while pulling and activating my taser to inmate Pullins to let inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] go. I also made sure to clear all the other inmates from the holding cell until it was just the 3 of us. I then closed the distance between myself and inmate Pullins and inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY]

Once the distance was closed, I then put my taser on Inmate Pullins’s shoulder. I then proceeded to dry stun Inmate Pullins. At that point, he released Inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and I immediately grabbed Inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to move him out of the cell. While still pointing my taser at Inmate Pullins, I then ordered him to put his hands against the wall; once both were against the wall, I proceeded to handcuff him.

I then escorted him to the infirmary and placed him in Infirmary cell 4. I asked the Coweta County medical team to see about the two inmates and myself for injuries. Inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was taken to the hospital to be taken care of.

I then decided to take charge out on Inmate Pullins; the charges are 16-5-24 Aggravated Battery Reason: He struck Inmate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and broke his cheekbone.

16-10-56 Unlawful acts in a penal institution Reason: He conducted himself in a violent and tumultuous manner while being illegally confined at the Coweta County Detention Center.
