On May 5, 2026, while at East Coweta High School, assistant principal, [REDACTED] asked for me to walk into assistant principal [REDACTED] office. Once there, he showed me a picture from student [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone. The picture was of teacher Chip McCarty sitting in his chair with his legs open with his t*sticles/scrotum hanging from the bottom of his shorts. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said her friend took the picture of him so they would have proof. I had her text me the picture then had her delete the picture from her phone in hopes it minimize the sharing of said picture.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] completed a written statement for East Coweta High administration. The following is basically what she wrote: while in 4th block health McCarty had been letting his man parts hang out. She wrote that he had his legs opened for a few minutes with his leg propped up. She said that this has happened more than one time and makes every student feel uncomfortable. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said the way he talks to girls makes them feel uncomfortable. She said that she and her friends, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] have all discussed how he makes them feel uncomfortable such as calling them “good girls, trying to touch them, and looking at their legs. She wrote McCarty had been doing this the entire semester.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] completed a written statement for school administration that essentially stated the following: McCarty has been acting weird toward her since the beginning of the school year. She said McCarty has been complementing her t-shirt and calling her a good girl while holding her arms as he talks with her. She said that he has called her beautiful and gorgeous. She went on to say that yesterday a picture was taken and his man parts were shown as if he was not wearing boxers.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] completed a written statement for school administration that basically stated the following: McCarty was sitting at his desk with his legs apart with his man parts visible. She said most of the class saw it. She said that he acts weird towards some of the girls in the class. She said he tries to touch a girls arm a lot and has called her a good girl. She said that he has asked them to touch his prosthetic “nub” and to hold his prosthetic leg. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he has tried to touch [REDACTED BY AGENCY] arm.
All statements will be uploaded to RMS along with the picture. I ended up seizing [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone that will be submitted into evidence. The phone was placed into airplane mode. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] provided passcode [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
