On March 23, 2026 I, Ofc. Ruck, responded to 555 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, GA 30265 (Target) regarding a theft. Prior to my arrival [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised the female, later identified as Peyton Daniels, left in a white lexus with a tag of [REDACTED BY AGENCY], she then parked and went into TJ Maxx.

Myself, and Sgt. Warren located Daniels inside TJ Maxx and I placed her in handcuffs behind her back, checked for fit and double locked them.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] gave me a copy of the receipt of the stolen property, which was a E-blaster for $9.99 and A New Day item of clothing for $30. Daniels gave Sgt. Warren consent to get the stolen merchandise from her vehicle so it could be given back to Target. The merchandise was located in her vehicle and turned over to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]

Ofc. Tarbunas completed a search incident to arrest on Daniels and no contraband was found. Daniels was placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle and safety belted in before being transported to the Coweta County Jail. Upon arrival I completed a second search incident to arrest using the back of my hand and no illegal contraband was found. Daniels was turned over to Booking Officers. I searched the rear of my patrol vehicle before and after transport.
