On March 13, 2026, I responded to [80 BLOCK] Christian Dr., [REDACTED BY AGENCY], in reference to an unknown problem. Dispatch advised that callers reported hearing multiple individuals yelling and screaming inside the apartment.
Upon arrival, I approached the apartment and knocked on the door several times. While standing outside the door, I could clearly hear an active verbal dispute occurring inside the residence, which consisted of loud yelling and screaming between multiple individuals. I knocked again and shortly afterward the door was opened by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Tamia Jacobs, who exited the apartment while actively yelling at one another.
I attempted to speak with both individuals to determine what had occurred. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] attempted several times to explain the situation to me; however, Tamia Jacobs continuously interrupted him by yelling over him and refusing to allow him to speak. While speaking with Tamia Jacobs, I detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath each time she spoke. Based on my training and experience, this odor indicated that Tamia Jacobs was likely under the influence of alcohol, which appeared to be contributing to her disorderly behavior.
I gave Tamia Jacobs multiple verbal commands to stop yelling and calm down so I could determine what had occurred. Despite these instructions, Tamia Jacobs continued yelling loudly and behaving in a disorderly manner toward both [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. At one point she walked away from me despite being instructed to remain where she was so I could continue the investigation. I instructed her several times to return, which she eventually did.
During my investigation, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tamia Jacobs had threatened him earlier during the argument. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that Tamia Jacobs stated she was going to pistol whip him and kill him while waving a handgun around. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] further stated that he initially believed the firearm to be fake, which caused Tamia Jacobs to become more agitated. According to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Tamia Jacobs then pointed the firearm at him and again threatened to kill him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated this incident was captured on video, which he was able to provide.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] of Tamia Jacobs, was also present and witnessed the altercation. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] confirmed that Tamia Jacobs had threatened [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and had been waving a firearm while making threats toward him.
Based on Tamia Jacobs’ continued disorderly behavior in my presence, the threats of violence made toward [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and the statements provided by the witnesses, I placed Tamia Jacobs under arrest for Terroristic Threats and Acts (OCGA 16-11-37) and Disorderly Conduct (OCGA 16-11-39).
She was placed in handcuffs behind her back which were checked for proper fit and double locked. She was then searched incident to the arrest, and secured in my patrol unit which was searched before and after transport to the Coweta County Jail. Tamia Jacobs was taken into custody without further incident.
