On 06/02/2026, I, Ptl. J. Jackson, responded to 417 W. 3rd Ave. in reference to a disorderly conduct incident.

Upon arrival, I observed a Black male identified as Alden Wagner exiting the Emergency Center of the hospital.

I was able to calm Wagner down and speak with him. Wagner stated that people inside the hospital had jumped him. However, when questioned further about the incident, Wagner refused to provide a detailed statement. I detained Wagner and placed him in handcuffs. Wagner was then secured in the rear of Ptl. Drake’s patrol vehicle.

I made contact with a Black male identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that he is employed by Phoebe Hospital Security. [VICTIM #1] advised that when Wagner entered the Emergency Center, he failed to pass through the metal detector. [VICTIM #1] stated that he instructed Wagner to return and proceed through the detector. According to [VICTIM #1], Wagner refused and became loud and disruptive in the lobby. [VICTIM #1] stated that Wagner then approached him and struck him in the face. Due to Wagner’s size, [VICTIM #1] stated that he threw his radio at Wagner. [VICTIM #1] advised that the two then began fighting until other security officers intervened and separated them.

I also made contact with a Black male identified as [WITNESS #1], who is employed by Phoebe Hospital. [WITNESS #1] stated that he observed Wagner enter the facility without passing through the metal detector. [WITNESS #1] advised that [VICTIM #1] informed Wagner that he was required to go through the detector. According to [WITNESS #1], Wagner refused and became irate. [WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] repeatedly instructed Wagner to comply. [WITNESS #1] further stated that Wagner approached [VICTIM #1] and pushed him with both hands. After being pushed, [VICTIM #1] struck Wagner with a flashlight. [WITNESS #1] advised that he attempted to break up the fight.

I observed no visible injuries on either [VICTIM #1] or [WITNESS #1]. Based on my investigation, Wagner was charged with Disorderly Conduct. Wagner was placed in handcuffs doubled-locked to the rear. Wagner was searched incident to arrest, with a brown wallet, cigarettes and a white substance in his back right pocket.

The substance that was found would be contraband and sent to evidence to be destroyed. Wagner was transported to the Dougherty County Jail and turned over into their custody. Citation: AA004146- Disorderly Conduct.

I collected identifying information from all involved parties and conducted GCIC/NCIC checks for active wants and warrants, which yielded negative results.
