I, Ptl Loud responded in normal mode to [100 BLOCK] S Shadowlawn Dr to assist Ptl Wiley and Ptl Moore with a family violence.

When I arrived on scene, I observed Islam Qawiy on scene being disorderly. I asked Islam to step away to the side with the other people on scene, while Ptl Wiley and Ptl Moore investigated. Islam did step away but returned back to the location I told him to move away from (the location was in between the two parties involved). Islam began to become disorderly again by yelling and cursing out loud. Islam yelled out, “who the f*ck, she’s supposed to be.” I advised Islam several times again to stop his disorderly behavior. Islam continued to yell out words I couldn’t make out. One of the parties involved in the family violence later identified as [WITNESS #1], warned Islam to stop his disorderly behavior as well. Islam refused to stop again then yelled out, “pu*sy a*s police don’t have any power.”

Myself, Ptl Wiley, and Ptl Moore walked and detained Islam in double locked hand restraints. Ptl Moore searched his persons for weapons and drugs with negative results. Ptl Wiley placed him in the rear of my patrol vehicle and secured him in his safety belt. After I finished typing Islam’s disorderly citation, I observed a small bag containing a green leafy substance in the window of where Islam was sitting. I asked Islam, where did the green leafy substance come from and he told me, “that’s not my fu*king sh*t.” I bagged it into an evidence envelope, and it will later be logged into evidence to be destroyed. I escorted Islam to the Dougherty County Jail without further incident.

Islam spoke to me the whole way there. He made threats of having me fired. He stated to me several times that I was an “idiot”. Islam told me several times also “that’s my a*s.” he cursed me the whole way (calling me stupid bi*ches and “h*es”) while yelling to the top of his lungs. After the escort was complete, I left a copy of his citation for Disorderly Conduct (BB002021) with the jail staff. Islam refused to sign the court’s copy. I retrieved my duty weapon and conducted a thorough backseat check for weapons and drugs with negative results. I ran both parties’ names through NCIC/GCIC for active warrants with negative results.

This case was cleared by arrest.
