I, Ptl. LaGree and Cpl. M. Hunt responded in normal mode to [2300 BLOCK] W Gordon Ave apt [REDACTED] (Treeside Park Apartments) in reference to a Rapе.

Upon arrival we made contact with [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that her five year old son, was crying in the middle of the night asking where his sister [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was at. [WITNESS #1] stated that her son kept coming back to her room crying though out the night. [WITNESS #1] stated that’s when she got out of bed to figure out what was going on. [WITNESS #1] stated she walked into [REDACTED BY AGENCY] room and notice that she wasn’t in there. [WITNESS #1] stated approximately at 0400 hours when she started to call [REDACTED BY AGENCY] cellphone to see where she was located at. [WITNESS #1] stated that she can see everything that’s on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from how she has it step up through her cellphone. [WITNESS #1] stated that she notices that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and and a name marked as Kalin was sharing location together. [WITNESS #1] stated that once she discovered that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] wasn’t in the room, ask [REDACTED BY AGENCY] questions about her location. [WITNESS #1] stated that once [REDACTED BY AGENCY] walk pass her she smelled a sex odor coming from her. At this point [WITNESS #1] pointed out a black male that was with them (Kalin) and stated that that was the male her daughter was with. At this time we began to speak with Kalin as Ptl. White spoke to [WITNESS #1] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Ptl. White advised us that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she and Kalin did have intercourse in the back seat of the truck. Ptl. White advised us that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she told Kalin she was 16 years and that she just met Kalin. Ptl. White advised us that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she was uncomfortable after her and Kalin had intercourse. Ptl. White advised us that the intercourse was performed with a condom. Ptl. White also provided us the clothing that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was wearing. This was turned into evidence locker 28 at the Albany Police Department. See Ptl. White supplementary for further details.

While on scene we made contact with Kalin Woods. Kalin stated that he been talking to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] for what appears to be approximately 3-4 weeks. Kalin stated that he was texting [REDACTED BY AGENCY] yesterday June 30, 2026, just trying to chill with her. Kalin stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised him that she was 17 year olds and turning 18 years old this year. Kalin stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told him that she lived alone with her siblings. Kalin stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told him that she has to put her brother sleep. Kalin stated that later on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] come back outside, they went to his brother’s vehicle (GMC Terrian Ga tag [REDACTED]) approximately at 0400. Kalin stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and he did have intercourse in the vehicle and this was the first time they have had intercourse. Kalin stated that he had messages from when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] started messaging him.

I observed a few messages as Kalin scrolled through the text feed. I could observe Kalin and the text feed stating that she was to wait until her mom was asleep. I was unable to observe further.

We notified Sgt. Jackson of this incident and she notified Investigations (Cpl. Beal) who later arrived on scene. We then placed Kalin in double locked handcuffs and searched him incident to arrest. He was then placed into the rear of my patrol vehicle (25-011). Once Cpl. Beal arrived on scene he requested Kalin to be transported to the Law Enforcement Center. We then transported Kalin to the LEC and placed him in interview room E. His cellphone was placed into the locker E.
