[NARRATIVE #1 on July 14, 2026]
On 07/14/2026, I, Ptl. Stephens, responded in normal patrol mode to [300 BLOCK] Independence Dr. in reference to a Family Violence incident.
Upon arrival, I made contact with a female identified as LaJohnsiya Shealy. LaJohnsiya stated she called for police assistance because her sister, MarKeesya Shealy, had LaJohnsiyas vehicle towed from the backyard. LaJohnsiya stated she was walking back to the residence from the park with her children when she noticed her vehicle was gone.
LaJohnsiya stated officers had previously advised MarKeesya to leave LaJohnsiyas property and belongings alone when officers responded to the residence earlier that morning. LaJohnsiya stated she had a silver Nissan Altima bearing Georgia license plate [REDACTED]. While on scene, LaJohnsiya and MarKeesya began arguing in the presence of the children. Both parties attempted to engage in a physical altercation while on scene. I positioned myself between LaJohnsiya and MarKeesya as they continued arguing back and forth. MarKeesya attempted to exit the residence and approach LaJohnsiya. I blocked MarKeesya from exiting by positioning my body at the doorway in an attempt to prevent the situation from escalating into a physical altercation.
MarKeesya stated she had the vehicle towed because it was located on her property. MarKeesya did not provide the name of the towing company that removed the vehicle.
I observed no visible marks or injuries on either party.
I conducted a GCIC/NCIC inquiry on both parties, which yielded negative results for criminal activity. Mar’keesya Shealy was issued a warrant for Criminal Tresspass Family Violence (26-009016-01APD).
This case was cleared by arrest.

[NARRATIVE #2 on July 14, 2026]
I, Ptl. Reeder, responded in normal mode to [300 BLOCK] Independence Dr in reference to a family violence.
Upon my arrival Ptl. Stephens was on scene outside speaking with Lajohnsiya Shealy and Markeesya Shealy about the incident. Lajohnsiya kept cursing in front of young children including her own, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and was told to stop cursing. Lajohnsiya and Markeesya then began arguing with each other and getting loud. I then advised them to stop arguing. Lajohnsiya and Markeesya then continued to be loud and curse, while children were still present.
Other officers on scene also advised to stop arguing and cursing. LT. Taylor then arrived on scene and I advised him of the situation. I then took Lajohnsiya into custody with handcuffs double-locked and to the rear. Lajohnsiya was then searched incident to arrest and placed in the rear of my patrol car. Ptl. Stephens took Markeesya into custody.
Lajohnsiya was then transported to the Dougherty County Jail. On the way to the jail Lajohnsiya stated if she would’ve just stopped she wouldn’t be going to jail. I advised Lajohnsiya I tried to give her a couple chances. Lajohnsiya was then released to the intake staff without incident.
Prior to this incident, officers have responded to the residence 7 times since 07/13/26. I responded to the scene 4 times due to issues between Lajohnsiya and Markeesya. While on some of the scenes the children were present while there was arguing and cursing between Lajohnsiya and Markeesya.
Lajohnsiya received citation (BB002779) for disorderly conduct. Markeesya received citation (BB002780) for disorderly conduct.
This case is cleared by arrest.
