On 08/05/2026 at approximately 2115 hours, in the city limits of Albany, GA, I responded to [1100 BLOCK] E Society Ave in reference to a disorderly conduct.

Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] who stated his friend named Leander Teemer hit him in the head with a firearm. [VICTIM #1] stated Leander came over to his residence listed above to eat dinner. [VICTIM #1] stated he served Leander his plate of fish and Leander told him the fish was under cooked. [VICTIM #1] stated he told him the fish was cooked right and knows because he is a cook. [VICTIM #1] stated Leander then became upset and told him he was not eating the food and attempted to feed it to [VICTIM #1]’s dog.

[VICTIM #1] stated he then told Leander not to do so because it would make his dog sick. [VICTIM #1] stated Leander than threw the food on the living room floor and pulled a pink firearm from his waist band. [VICTIM #1] stated Leander than hit him in the left side of his head with the pink firearm approximately 3-4 times. [VICTIM #1] stated he then pushed Leander away and told him to leave his house. [VICTIM #1] stated Leander refused to leave and after some time passed, he eventually left. [VICTIM #1] stated Leander resided at [130 BLOCK] Swift St. and could possibly still be there.

I arrived at [130 BLOCK] Swift St. and upon my arrival, I observed Leander and his girlfriend named [REDACTED] walk out of the front door. I questioned Leander about the incident and he stated nothing happened. After asking Leander multiple times what had occurred he stated he went over [VICTIM #1]’s house to eat fish and told [VICTIM #1] that the fish was under cooked. Leander stated he then tried to feed [VICTIM #1]’s dog the food and [VICTIM #1] told him not to. Leander stated he then put the food on the floor and left [VICTIM #1]’s residence.

While speaking with Leander he began moving nervously, attempted to pick up his shoes from the ground and attempted to take off his book bag. Due to Leander’s movements, he was detained, placed in handcuffs to the rear and double-locked. Leander was Terry frisked for weapons and placed in the rear of my patrol car. I asked for Leander’s consent to search his book bag that was located in [REDACTED]’s vehicle and he gave consent. [REDACTED] was then asked if I could go in her vehicle to retrieve Leander’s book bag and she stated yes. The search for the firearm yielded negative results.

Inv. Woodall responded to the scene and questioned Leander on the incident and was eventually given consent to search his room in looks for a firearm. Inv. Woodall later located a pink firearm in Leander’s room. See Inv. Woodall’s supplement for further details. Leander was later charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.

Leander was then transferred into jail custody without any further incident. I searched the rear of my patrol car for weapons and contraband with negative results. Both Sgt. Outlaw and Lt. Gadt responded to the scene. I performed an NCIC/GCIC warrant check on all parties involved with negative results.
