I (Ptl. Medlock) responded in normal mode to [2400 BLOCK] Dawson Rd in reference to Disorderly Conduct.

Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] who stated that her black male friend Lovell Mango whom she and her fiance [VICTIM #2] asked to come over to help [VICTIM #1] since she had gotten a few teeth pulled. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she asked Mango to leave he became irate. [VICTIM #1] stated that when Mango walked outside she closed the door and locked it. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she went to the front door window to ask Mango to leave he punched through the window breaking it. [VICTIM #1] stated that when Mango punched through the window the glass broke in her face causing a small laceration on the left cheek of her face.

[VICTIM #1] stated she then contacted her fiance [VICTIM #2] who was at work to advise of this situation. [VICTIM #1] stated shortly after [VICTIM #2] arrived home and confronted Mango about the window. [VICTIM #1] stated that [VICTIM #2] then asked Mango about the window. [VICTIM #1] stated [VICTIM #2] asked her to go inside the house([2400 BLOCK] Dawson Rd. Apt. [REDACTED]) while he confronted Mango about the window. [VICTIM #1] stated Mango picked up a piece of glass with a sharp point and balled it into his fist. [VICTIM #1] stated that shortly after Mango attempted to stab [VICTIM #2] with the glass. [VICTIM #1] stated [VICTIM #2] evaded the stab and they began to fight. [VICTIM #1] stated that a neighbor came outside and broke up the fight and she called the police.

I made contact with [VICTIM #2] who stated that he received a call from his manager about his fiance [VICTIM #1] getting hurt. [VICTIM #2] stated he left work and came home to [2400 BLOCK] Dawson Rd Apt [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #2] stated that when he got home he noticed his front window had broken. [VICTIM #2] stated [VICTIM #1] advised Mango broke the window because he got upset that she advised him to leave when he started to become irate. [VICTIM #2] stated he then asked [VICTIM #1] to go into the home so that he could confront Mango about the window. [VICTIM #2] stated that when he confronted Mango about the window he admitted to breaking it. [VICTIM #2] stated that when he asked why Mango stayed he didnt care. [VICTIM #2] stated that Mango then picked up a piece of glass that was on the ground from when he broke the window when he punched the window. [VICTIM #2] stated that Mango punched him with the glass in his hand. [VICTIM #2] stated he is unsure if Mango was trying to stab or just punch him. [VICTIM #2] stated that all he knows is that Mango attacked him with the glass in his hand.

[VICTIM #2] stated that he and Mango got into a physical altercation. [VICTIM #2] stated that when he finished his fight with Mango, Mango wanted to fight again because he lost. [VICTIM #2] stated that when Mango wanted to fight again [VICTIM #1] called the police. [VICTIM #2] stated that when he and Mango were going to fight a neighbor in the area, another neighbor broke up the fight.

I observed a small laceration on the face of [VICTIM #1]. I also observed a small laceration on the left hand of Mango. [VICTIM #2] had no bruises. Med 4 responded to the scene. Sgt. Sherman and Sgt. Outlaw responded to the scene. Investigator. Kicklighter was also called in reference to this situation.

I advised them to contact the police if they need further assistance. Mango was placed in double locked handcuffs (to the rear), searched incident to arrest and placed in Ptl. Pinkins patrol vehicle. Mango was placed in a seat belt. Mango was transported to the Dougherty County Jail and to be tunred over to the Jail staff by Ptl.Pinkins.

[VICTIM #1] was given a QR code reference card for resources. Photos, video and all evidence of the scene were taken and submitted to Property/Management (201 W Oglethorpe Ave)locker 2. A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties for wants/warrants with positve results for Mango for Probation Violation out of Dougherty County. Audio and video of this incident was recorded on our body-worn cameras. This incident is not domestic in nature because [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] stated Mango is a friend that only came over for a day or 2 to help [VICTIM #1] because of her teeth getting pulled.
