On 04/28/2026 I Ptl. Conley responded in emergency mode to the 2500 block W Gordon Ave in reference to an auto accident extrication.
Upon arrival I observed a black Chevy Avalanche with damages all of the vehicle due to it being in a accident. AFD extracted the male subject out of the vehicle. Once the subject was out of the vehicle he was then placed in the back of Med Unit 4. Cpl. D Hunt then made contact with Nathaniel Jones Jr and conducted Field Sobriety Test on Jones. Jones advised Cpl. Hunt that he had 2 cups of Hennessey about 2 hours prior to the accident. Cpl Hunt determined that Jones was DUI.
I then placed Jones in handcuffs that were double locked and checked for tightness. Jones was then taken to Phoebe to be medically cleared before going to the jail. Once Jones was cleared he was then transported to the jail, once at the jail I secured my duty weapon in the trunk of my patrol car 19-151. Jones was then taken into the jail and turned over to jail staff. After leaving the jail I secured my duty weapon from the trunk of my patrol car.
This case is cleared by arrest.
