I (Ptl. Medlock) responded in normal mode to [810 BLOCK] W Mercer Ave. In reference to contact person.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] who stated that her boyfriend’s ([WITNESS #1]) baby mama Tierra Wright struck her on the left side of her face with a closed fist. [VICTIM #1] stated that on 08/06/26 around 0010 hours when Tierra came to pick up her son from [500 BLOCK] N Westover Blvd Apt [REDACTED], she punched her on the left side of her face for no reason. [VICTIM #1] stated she wants to pursue charges.
I made contact with [WITNESS #1] who stated that he saw what happened. [WITNESS #1] stated that when Tierra came over to [500 BLOCK] N Westover Blvd Apt [REDACTED] to pick up their child, Tierra punched [VICTIM #1] in the face. [WITNESS #1] stated afterwards Tierra grabbed [VICTIM #1] by the hair and began punching her multiple times in the face.
I made contact with Tierra via number [REDACTED] who stated that when she came over [500 BLOCK] N Westover Blvd Apt [REDACTED], she saw [VICTIM #1] sitting on the lap of her husband [WITNESS #1] and holding her son. Tierra stated when she saw this, she took it as an offense because [VICTIM #1] has been harassing her and having sex with her husband [WITNESS #1].
Tierra stated that after seeing [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] together she and [VICTIM #1] got into a physical altercation after Tierra threw the first hit out of anger. I observed no bruises on the face of [VICTIM #1]. No one advised they needed EMS. I advised them to contact the police if they need further assistance. [VICTIM #1] was given a QR code reference card for resources. Photos of the scene were taken and submitted to Property/Management (201 W Oglethorpe Ave)locker 2. A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties for wants/warrants with negative results.
This incident is not domestic in nature because [VICTIM #1] and Tierra do not live together or have kids together. A Misdemeanor citation for Disorderly Conduct was filled out on Tierra in reference to this incident. (Citation number AA013904). Tierra turned herself in and was arrested and was placed in double locked handcuffs (to the rear), searched incident to arrest and was transported by Sgt Franklin to the Dougherty County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.
