On July 6, 2025 at approximately 0146 hours I patrolman Wiley responded in emergency mode to 2800 Old Dawson Rd (Truth Nightclub). in reference to Aggravated Assault.
Upon Arrival contact was made with a large crowd of unknown individuals who were leaving the Nightclub. Several individuals were yelling and screaming that people had been shooting, and that their cars had been damaged by bullets.
I Ptl. Wiley observed several shell casings from the scene of the incident. Totaling approximately 30 shell casings. I Ptl. Wiley photographed and collected approximately 20 (Luger BCB) 9mm shell casings, approximately 9 S&B 300 Blackout shell casings, and 1 live 9mm (Luger) bullet.
The 9mm shell casings were found and collected mid row of the parking lot located directly in front of the Truth Nightclub Sign, and the 300 Blackout casings were found along the front entrance of food line. All shell casings were collected and bagged to be submitted into the Albany Police Department’s evidence locker #2.
Contact was made by myself Ptl. Wiley along with Ptl. Loud with several victims who’s cars had been damaged as a result of the shootings.
Contact was made B/F [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that her red in color 2022 Hyundai Elantra Displaying Ga tag [REDACTED] had been damaged as a result of the shooting. [VICTIM #1]’s windshield was struck twice, and contained 1 unknown passenger.
Contact was made with B/M [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #2] stated that his 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis displaying Ga Tag [REDACTED] had been damaged as a result of the shooting. [VICTIM #2]’s back passenger windows on both sides were shot out.
Contact was made with B/F [VICTIM #3]. [VICTIM #3] stated that her grey in color 2013 Chevy Malibu displaying Ga Tag [REDACTED] had been damaged as a result of the shooting. [VICTIM #3]’s rear windshield had been shattered, as well as a bullet whole inside the driver front wheel well.
Contact was made with B/F [VICTIM #4]. [VICTIM #4] stated that her Gold/Tan in color 2017 Ford Escape had been damaged as a result of the shooting. [VICTIM #4]’s car received damage to the passenger window.
Contact was made with B/M [VICTIM #5]. [VICTIM #5] stated that his white in color 2018 Kia Optima displaying Ga Tag [REDACTED] had been damaged as a result of the shooting. [VICTIM #5] Stated that his front passenger tire had been shot, and that his vehicle sustained a bullet hole on the passenger side door.
Contact was made with B/F [VICTIM #6]. [VICTIM #6] stated that her white in color 2021 Hyundai Sonata displaying Ga Tag [REDACTED] had been damaged as a result of the shooting. [VICTIM #6] stated that her passenger side of her windshield was struck and received damage.
Contact was made with B/F [WITNESS #1]. (DOB [REDACTED BY AGENCY] 2000) [WITNESS #1] stated that she works as a server at Truth Nightclub, and provided myself Ptl. Wiley with screenshots and photographs of several individuals who are alleged to be apart of the group of people responsible for the shooting that took place in the parking lot.
All victims vehicles were Photographed and will be submitted into the Albany Police Department’s evidence locker #2.
A case number and resource card was given to all victims involved.
A service request form will be completed for the shell Casings for NIBIN.
Lt. Taylor was notified and responded to the scene.
This case remains active and will be forwarded to the Albany police department’s investigation bureau.
