I was contacted by Det. Larry Harris in reference to the pungent odor of marijuana emitting from within the listed residence. I was advised by Det. Harris that he’d made contact with the persons inside as part of an on going investigation into a vehicular homicide. Both parties inside, Mr. Jeremy Lambert and Ms. Ansliegh Parrish were transported to the Rincon Police Department for questioning. I made contact with Deputy youngblood who was on scene to assist. He confirmed that the residence in fact reeked of marijuana. I secured a search warrant on the residence based off the information I’d received from Det. Harris and Deputy Youngblood. I arrived on scene at approximately 1700 hours to execute the search warrant. I was assisted by Deputy Youngblood and Deputy C. Olbrysh during the search of the residence.

During the search of the residence we located numerous items of evidentiary value. The following is a synopsis of the items found/seized and their locations:

Kitchen:

In the kitchen I located a large jar of marijuana on the shelf with the alcoholic beverages. There were also several smoking pipes and a smaller amount of marijuana inside a yellow pelican case on the island counter top. Ansliegh Parish’s personal belongings were on the same counter.

Garage:

Inside the garage I located a smaller attached room that contained a marijuana grow. The room contained a grow house, lighting, irrigation systems, fan/cooling, marijuana seeds baggies and chemicals. The 5 fabric soil filled pots only contained leaves/residue of the marijuana plants.

Master bedroom:

In the master bedroom I located more of the glass jars inside the bathroom closet. One of the jars contained less than an ounce of marijuana and several were empty. There was also 2 containers of THC Gummies and liquid.

Office:

Inside the office I located two handguns, an Ar15 rifle and marijuana seeds. Jeremy Lamberts personal belongings were on the desk.

The listed items of evidentiary value were taken to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office and logged into evidence.

In light of the facts above both parties were charged with possession of marijuana (felony), possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, manufacturing marijuana, possession of the tools for the commission of a felony and Lambert was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
