On the listed date and time, I initiated a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Murano for speeding on Interstate 16 eastbound near mile marker 148. The vehicle was traveling 88 mph in a 70 mph zone. The driver was identified as Aprili Wiggins.
Ms. Wiggins was removed from the vehicle and asked to complete a battery of field sobriety tests. Ms. Wiggins was arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence and read the Ga Implied Consent Notice. A blood test was conducted by Effingham EMS. Ms Wiggins was transported to the Effingham County Jail on the listed charges and remanded to the jail staff for processing.
