BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. – On Thursday, March 14, 2024, the Cartersville Police Department received a report of a possible inappropriate relationship between a Cartersville High School teacher and a student.
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, John Paul Snead was taken into custody by Cartersville Police Department Investigators. Mr. Snead has been charged with Sexual Assault by Teacher/Principal/Asst Principal/Other Administrator Engaged in Sexual Contact wit (Felony).
In addition, Mr. Snead was charged with Sexual Battery (Misdemeanor). Mr. Snead was lodged at the Bartow County Jail pending a bond hearing.
