On above date and time I Pfc McCormick was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] 2nd st in reference to a domestic altercation.
Upon arrival I made contact with Mr Bunyae who had a visible cut to his forehead. He stated that his ex girlfriend had struck him in the head during a argument telling him to leave her house. Bunyea has previously been trespassed from her address multiple times at her request. Upon making contact with Ms Bradfield she stated that he had come over this morning and brought her some cigarettes but she told him to leave until her uncle got home due to her wanting to go back to sleep. She informed me that they got into a argument and began to shove each other because he was mad about being told to leave.
She advised that he had shoved her to the floor and began to choke her and that was when she grabbed a dog food bowl and struck him in the head causing the cut. I was able to observe visible marks around her throat indicating that she had been being choked.
Upon going back outside to speak to Mr Bunyae, he was standing at the gate yelling at her from the road and cussing her with bystanders present. Upon trying to speak with him to put together a time line of the events that took place he proceeded to become hostile with law enforcement and continue to yell louder and cuss refusing to answer questions.
He eventually stated that he had been invited over and when he was told to leave they began to argue and that she struck him in the head with a object. He advised at that point he left the house and contacted 911. He was then placed in custody and placed in the back of the patrol vehicle.
I then made contact with Ms Bradfield upon doing so I inquired if she had invited him over and she stated that she did. I informed her that by doing so that voided out the trespass form she had filed against him. Due to not being able to determine Primary aggressor she was also placed into custody and transported to the jail by Sgt Overstreet. Upon making it to the jail Mr Bunyae was refused and advised he had to go to the hospital for medical.
Upon making it to the hospital he went back and forth admitting the he had choked her during the altercation. During the transport back to the jail after being cleared he disclosed that he has been physically violent with her in the past also as well as choking her in the past. On multiple occasions stating that females enjoyed having males that physically abused them and beat them.
