On August 16th, 2026 at approximately 01:19 AM, I, OFC T.Zenga #57, was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] for an alleged assault.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] who was bleeding profusely from the head. [VICTIM #1] sat down on the steps and applied pressure to his head with a rag as I took photographs of his injuries. [VICTIM #1] stated he got into an argument with Audrey Watkins, a current resident at [REDACTED BY AGENCY], over him not allowing her to go into the back rooms. He stated she left and then came back and again began arguing. He stated she then hit him over the head with a blunt object and fled the scene.

I inspected the inside of the residence with permission from [VICTIM #1] and located a large amount of blood all over the floor and [VICTIM #1]’s bed. It was photographed and entered into AXON as evidence.

Another officer located Audrey and had her relocate back to my location. EMS eventually arrived and transported [VICTIM #1] to Atrium Health Floyd to be treated. I then spoke with Audrey, in which she stated they were arguing because he would not let her go into the back and go to sleep. She advised me she had no recollection of striking [VICTIM #1]. I placed Audrey in handcuffs, which were double locked and checked for fit, and she was then searched her incident to arrest.

I read Audrey her Miranda Rights and asked her where the object she hit [VICTIM #1] with was located. She stated it was a plastic rod and could show me its location. We entered the residence and she pointed out a metallic cylinder object located on the ground next to the door. The weapon was photographed and taken for evidence and placed in the temporary evidence lockers located at Rome Police Department.

Audrey was placed in the backseat of my marked patrol vehicle and transported to Floyd County Jail where she was booked.
