On the above date and time I, Cpl Wishart arrived at 4428 Martha Berry Hwy (Hi Tech gas station)in reference to a domestic call.
Upon arrival I spoke with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] advised that she and her boyfriend Brandon Montgomery were on their way to the gas station to put gas in Brandon’s vehicle when Brandon became enraged and began driving into on coming traffic, stating that he would wreck the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] stated that she finally got Brandon to stop at the Hi Tech, she attempted to get out of the vehicle and Brandon put his arm around her neck and began choking her while also grabbing her shirt preventing her from getting out of the vehicle.
[VICTIM #1] advised that she was finally able to get out of the vehicle and Brandon followed her trying to get her to get back in the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] had visible red marks around her neck area. [VICTIM #1] advised that the gas station has video cameras outside.
I went inside the gas station to watch the video. While watching the video I saw [VICTIM #1] trying to get out of the vehicle and get away from Brandon. When [VICTIM #1] finally got out of the vehicle, Brandon drove off and turned around. Brandon then almost struck [VICTIM #1] with his vehicle. I then saw Brandon and [VICTIM #1] argue while Brandon attempted to pull [VICTIM #1] toward the vehicle as if to get her inside the vehicle.
I walked back outside to continue to speak with [VICTIM #1]. I asked [VICTIM #1] if Brandon attempted to hit her with his vehicle. [VICTIM #1] stated that he did. I asked [VICTIM #1] if she knew where Brandon might be. [VICTIM #1] advised that Brandon went home to [800 BLOCK] Ben Mosley Circle in Summerville GA.
A Criminal Warrant was obtained. Chattooga County executed the warrant and Brandon was transported to Floyd County Jail.
