On Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 6:20 p.m. I (Officer Hart) was dispatched to [REDACTED] regarding a domestic.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Deyli Gonzalez. She was crying, rambling, and not making sense. I made multiple attempts to determine what happened, but was unsuccessful. I asked Officer Wilbanks to sit with her so I could talk to the other party.
[WITNESS #1] (witness) stated Deyli was upset with [VICTIM #1] (victim) because of a recent custody battle. He stated Deyli started to scream at [VICTIM #1] and then charged her, tried to grab her, and hit her. He stated he grabbed Deyli and pulled her off of [VICTIM #1]. He stated that during the altercation, Deyli scratched [VICTIM #1] and cut her arm. I observed a cut on [VICTIM #1]’s left wrist. I spoke with [WITNESS #2] (witness), and he stated the same. Deyli is the daughter of [VICTIM #1] and currently live together.
While gathering information, Dayli started to walk away from Officer Wilbanks, and he ordered her to stop walking. She did not comply and kept walking toward [VICTIM #1]. I placed Dayli in handcuffs, placed her inside Officer Wilbanks’ patrol vehicle, and finished my investigation. I took a photo of the injury and uploaded it to Axon Evidence.
Once I completed my investigation, I transported Dayli to my patrol car, checked the cuffs for fit, double-locked them, and placed her inside the patrol car. Dayli was transported to Floyd County Jail. The patrol car was checked before and after transportation. A victim notification form was completed.
